The AnnapolisShambhala Meditation Centre welcomes people from all walks of life interested in meditation, and everyone is invited to attend the variety of enriching programs, classes, community events and of course weekly practice.
Giving (dana) is one of the essential preliminary steps of Buddhist practice. When practiced in itself, it is a basis of merit or wholesome kamma. When coupled with morality, concentration and insight, it leads ultimately to liberation from samsara, the cycle of repeated existence.
All our activities are entirely supported by the generosity and commitment of our community members.
